Paul Mann
Paul grew up in a nearby
suburb and left the area for college, grad school, and then jobs in Albany and
Boston. Five years ago, he decided to return to the region for its lower cost
of livng and to be near his aging parents. He chose to renovate a 1914
two-family house which had belonged to his grandparents and was slowly falling
apart. Trained as an architect, Paul values the detail and charm of his home as
well as the additional revenue the rental units provide.
He likes the proximity of beautiful Forest Park, Italian and Vietnamese restaurants, local pubs, and a seasonal farmers market. Paul enjoys rediscovering city amentities, feels Springfield is more vibrant than Albany, and is glad to be part of an active gay community.
